European market for clean technology

Since the early 90`s European countries were pioneers in creating a solid legislative framework favouring Renewables and energy efficiency. The EU committed to generate 12% of its primary energy consumption from renewable sources by 2010. Subsequently a new fast growing sector of leading innovative technology and service providers developed.

European companies are leading in many areas such as wind energy, photovoltaic, biogas and others.
